25 Days of Blessings -Day1

I went through a lot this year. That is because I focused solely on the negative things that are comming on my way, I didn't realized that although things are not in the way it should be, I am still so blessed with a lot of things.

This morning, in the middle of the traffic and the hassle rain I received a text message

" see the good side of every event, things or persons in your life. Then you will never run out of blessings to count. Your blessings are everywhere!"

Earlier this year I joined the #100days of happiness campaign in instagram but I stoped at day25 yata. I can say going through that campaign let me appreciate everyday little blessings that I have. It made me grateful for the life I have. Why did I stopped? Negativity and laziness overpowered me. Lol

So now, I am starting to count my blessings again, 25 days, until christmas.

#day1blessing is receiving an early gift for christmas.

Actually this one is an example of good karma. If you are generous with people around you, chances are they will do the same with you. I mean not generous as in extravagant or spending money. Generous in understanding, kindness and teamwork. Friendship is one of the free and essential things in life. You can't live without true friends.

So receiving this packages made me giddy! Its not from a close friend though, but I can see that she values the relationship we have.

Tadaaa! A comple collection of 2014 Mcdo glasses.

See? I don't need to have the extra pounds from eating in Mcdo haha.

Happy ThanksGiving!

My facebook feeds are full of thanksgiving memes. And even if we don't celebrate that in the Philippines nakigaya na din ako. Lol

This year is indeed a roller coaster ride for me, but amidst everything, I still have alot of things to be thankful for.

I thank God for letting me meet daddy R. He may not me a perfect husband, but he is willing to love me beyond my imferfections. Thats all I need to keep going.

I thank God for a lovely family. My life may not be as good as what others have, but we are happily contented. Thats all that matters.

I thank God that I wake up every morning to see how beautiful life has to offer.

And most of all, I thank God for all the provisions that allowed me to be a blessing to my family.

Happy thanksgiving folks!

Mommy Sweetie's Graham Balls

Since D is becoming more and more of a picky eater lately, napipilitan na ako ngaun magluto (weekend lang!). And one of the snack I made for him the "grazing balls" as per D. Its very easy and fast to do.

Here's what you need;
Crushed graham, you can buy it almost anywhere.

Condensed Milk.

And a makulit inspiration.

Heres how to make it;
1. Mix the crushed grahams and the condensed milk in the bowl.
I can't say the measurements, tantyahan lang!

2. Leave some of the crushed grahams in a small bowl.

3. Form the the mixture into little balls and roll it to the dry grahams. You can use colored candies, marshmallows and other candies for a colorful look.

4. And its done! Eat it!

And D loved it. He even said "Luto mo ito mommy? marunong ka?" haha.

Looking forward to make more meals with D.

G,

A Wonderful Weekend

Hello there! I know I went MIA again! Now I am back and kicking again.

Last weekend was one of the weekends we look forward to. A trip to my father's hometown and to the place where I spend my childhood. Bittersweet though, because we were there to celebrate the death anniversary of my lolo, whom I missed so much.

Okay, enough of the drama. Lemme tell you the story of our wonderful weekend through pictures.

This is post the trip though, daddy R and D playing play-pretend and guess who is the pirate?

Who says travelling is boring when you have gadgets and wifi with you?
So keep calm and take selfies.

And since visit in the province means more playmates for D, daddy R and I had a time for some chummy chummy time, lol

D is fascinated with tricycle and loved pretend driving it. Supercute right?!
He almost spend the rest of the weekend there.

Weekend is also our time for bonding. And these two bullies licked my face instead of just kissing me.

And who doesn't love waking up with this beautiful view. Oh It made me miss my childhood more.

And one of the things I love when I visit Inang, taddaaaa!
Wearing his comfiest dasters!

D asked his daddy R to dede also. Haha #thingsDadswilldo

D playing bubbles with his playmates. Hay childhood.

We went back sunday to sneak in mall time. And who's not to happy?
Ayaw daw kasi siya papasukin sa mickey park.

This the cutest. Marunong din pala mahiya ang bata.
This is after niya kumanta at palakpakan ng mga girls sa kabilang table namin.

And now, whenever he saw something worth a picture. He will tell me "mommy picture mo ako!"

And look who is our new grocery helper!

And thats it pancit!
Its tuesday and towards the middle of the week. A so look forward for the next weekend again.

G,
