Early Terrible Two???

I know! baby D is only 1yr and 3mos pero sobrang bilis lang, kala mo talaga more than 2 years old na siya sa kalikutan. Ang bilis ng panahon, sobra! parang kailan lang walang ginawa si baby D kung hindi matulog, umiyak, dumede at magpopo. 

First Day sa bahay ni baby D. 

 Ngaun, every morning is so special, paggising mo pa lang ganitong ngiti na sasalubong sayo.

Paggising, "Good Morning Baby", ayan nakangiti na siya ng ganyan, kapag swerte pa, mayroon pa akong mahigpit na hug. Hay I soooo love motherhood... 

And before ang get-up lang niya ay baby clothes talaga, ngaun we can experiment na, paging daddy R! we need to shop for new clothes na. 

Cuteness overload!

Kanino ka nagmana baby? "Sympre kay DaddyR" lol

 Pero syempre, kasama sa growing-up ang kalikutan. I think ang aga niyang mag enter sa terible-two! (wala pa ngang 2 years old) Buti nalang carry siya alagaan ni tita A. Here is the list ng mga bagay na nagagawa ng batang malikot.

1. Tumakas sa room namin, papuntang room nila lola (repeat 10X)
2. Laruin ang mga sockets, hilahin ang TV cords at kung anu-anu pang cord sa bahay
3. Magdive sa bed
4. Umakyat sa couch at recently sa center table
5. Magkalat ng mga toys niya (every day!)
6. Gawing mall ang kotse (as in paikot-ikot siya sa kotse, ang liit naman sana ng space)
7. Abutin lahat ng kaya niyang abutin
8. Itapon Kuhanin lahat cellphone sa bahay at ilalagay sa ears niya at kung anu-anu sinasabi
9. Pumuna sa CR, tindahan, sa labas at maglikot ng maglikot.
10. Sirain ang mga laruan niya
11. Sumiksik sa kung saan masikip
12. Sumira Magread ng mga baby books niya
13. Maglaro habang kumakain
14. Kumain ng maraming frenchfries
15. Manuod ng "tatlong bibe" sa tab (as in may LSS na kami), kapag bored na itatakas na niya ng tab
16. Magsungit sa mga toys niya (seriously we need to do something about this)
17. Manulak, mangurot at mansabunot ng ibang kids (oh may lagi yata kami ipapatawag sa school nito)
18. Sumakay sa batya, kahon or kahit anung pwedeng sakyan
19. Magkalat Kumain mag-isa pero lalagyan mo ng food ang spoon niya, siya lang magsusubo at left
handed yata siya
20. Simigaw at tumili kapag tuwang tuwa

At recently, nadiscover na niya ang language ng "cry" as in iyak kung iyak kapag hindi niya nakuha ng gusto niya. Kaso weird na mga bagay ang gusto ng bagets, as in susi ng car, papers,ballpen, notebook na  sisirain babasahin lang namin niya lol at madami pang iba.

See? si Baby D ang may award ng ng "most" malikot, maingay at makulit sa waiting area ng hospital. haha

At ngaun, marunong na din siya umakting ng ganito. Nanunuod siya ng video sa tab, kaso ayaw kumain kaya itinabi ko muna tab, at Ola! ganito ang drama niya.

 "Hay anak, you are growing so fast... andami namin namimiss na milestones mo ni daddy R. Sana when you grow-up you will understand that we are doing this for you. We are working hard to give you the best things in life. We love you so much to the moon and back and back to the mooon". 

Sweet Life

"love isn't who you can live with, it's who you can't live without". 

I learned this quote while having lunch with our resource speaker. I mentioned before, I love lunch conversations with our resource speakers, very informative and entertaining. I love listening to people who shares life lessons not only based on books, but based on their personal experiences. 

He actually asked me, how did I know that daddy R is the right guy. I said, "because I can imagine growing old with him". I know! cliche, but seriously, I love waking every morning with daddy R and I have an endless reasons why I love, will love and forever love R. Okay I'm getting so chessy and mushy, this is my blog anyway? right? And as I said I want to document the banker and the banker's wife journey here, I also wanted to share who and what are we when we are still G and R. 

This month, we celebrated our 51st mansary (so teenager!). But unlike teenagers, our mansaries are no fancy. No fancy dates, No extravagant gifts etc. Because for us, everyday that we are together is a celebration. Our journey is not perfect, we had a lot of lows and highs (emotionally and financially) but when we are together we just happy and contented.

We are two different person from different family, different culture, different upbringing, different fields, different worlds. But through time, and because we love to be with each other a lot (as in everyday) we learned to compromise, to enjoy each other's little joys and have fun together. 

And now? my greatest fear is to wake-up one morning without R, knowing that I will not receive any call or text from him, to be alone. 

And with that, I know I found love with R, true love that I will forever cherish. 

Ah sweet life it is.

Sweet Night

Hubby and I seldom go on a date since we had baby D. We still eat out, watch movies but with baby D haha married life it is.

That is why last wednesday I am so happy that finally we had an "official" date (with shopping on the side) lol.

We went crazy shopping like we used to.

And tada! Fine dinner without a toddler in tow.

We went home walking to catch a bus, just like the old times (ordinary bus) chat, flirt like we used to. I miss this kind of date with daddy R. If time and funds would allow us, we will do this often.

True that having a baby changes our lives, but I realized that we should always take time as couples just to keep the fire burning. Remember a happy mommy, happy baby and happy family.

Tuesday Ramblings...

It's a beautiful day! kahit mainit, I woke-up with my little boy smiling with me. Kahit bumaba siya sa bed at mas ginustong i-hug si teddy. Ahh... Simple joys!

I have a loving husband na hindi talaga ako natitiis. Kahit bago matulog yan at paggising niya galit sa akin yan, itatanung at itatanung niya kung nasaan na ako. Caring lang ang peg. For more than 4 years na nakilala ko yan, he's my bestfriend, my food buddy, my shopping buddy at kung anu-anu pang buddy. I still remember nung single days ko pa, and still searching... I realized na instead of praying for someone who will love me, and prayer ko ay "please as I prepare for him, prepare mo din siya para sa akin" loka-loka lang ang peg. And true when we met, I know that we are prepared for each other. And i'm very much thankful that God gave me someone like him. I couldn't imagine life with anyone. Honestly. 

I know I have a happy life. 

But I must admit, deep inside, I still have my other dreams na hindi ko pa nakukuha. No don't get me wrong, I love being a wife and a mother as much as I love chocolates.  

Oh well, Why I am like this nga ba? When I opened my email, I saw notifications. Four of my college batchmates are graduating na sa MS nila. I felt envy. I also have a close friend who is graduating na sa law school next year. Those are my dreams. I have so many plans. So may dreams. So many things I wanted to achieve. To be a teacher, pass the LET. Sana I'l take law. Sana I'l have my masters. Sana I'l be one of the best trainers etc. Plans of studying and working abroad. But where I am now? I hate to say that i gave-up all this plans for a happy family, because I know hindi pa huli ang lahat. I just need the time and the resources. 

Oo, sasabihin sa akin ni Daddy R i'm full of delays kasi. Oh well, heaven knows how it is difficult to juggle work and taking care of baby D and breastfeeding on the side. Honestly, hindi ko alam panu ko gagawin. Panu magsisimula. Pero I know, I just need time. BIG TIME. 

La Mesa Eco Park

Having baby D in the family made us closer. Dati we seldom go out, I have my own life. And aming living room ay tambakan ng mga gamit lang. We have our own TV sa room. Nagkikita kita lang kami kapag kainan. Pero when baby D came, we became closer, nagkkwentuhan na kami kung anu nangyari in a day etc. And we always plan go on picnic para makapag laro si baby D. We even went to Luneta and QC circle na. (Will post about that soon).

And since daddy R is in town, we went last sunday to La Mesa Eco Park to have picnic, swimming and make baby D run around with the kids. Kaso ayaw maglakad ng bagets, nagpacarry lang the whole time. Sakit sa katawan, Promise!

The taho. I like it that even mamang magtataho is eco friendly. Ang mahal nyan, P20. 

Me: P5 nalang kuya, sa bata lang naman. 

Mang Taho: Wala ho akong maliit na cup, galing ho ito sa opisina.

Me: May cup kami dun mo nalang ilagay, 

Mang Taho: Bawal ho, sa opisina lang po na cup pwede gamitin. 

(May ganun?! makadahilan si kuya para P20 talaga bilhin lol, after sa amin ikot nalang siya ng ikot, walang bumibili haha mahal kasi)

I am so happy that finally, nakabili na kami ng toy na sobrang naapreciate ng bagets. Kulit nyan, hinuhuli niya ung car at kapag hindi niya naabutan iiyak. At ngaun naman feeling niya phone ung control. haha. 

And.. and... they love the water! kaya pag uwi namin, tanned na silang mag ama. 

I did mentioned before na I want baby D to grow-up well rounded. I want him to be exposed in different fields and plays. I want him to excel in academics as well in music and sports. Hada na kung hada, I want the best for baby D. Stage mom na stage mom diba? So from now on, I will try to plan activities like this. Nag enjoy kaming lahat. Kahit hindi ako naligo lol.

Sweet? or KabwiSweet?

I am really sick today, kung hindi lang may training sa office I would rather stay at home and sleep.
Since daddy R is in town, I asked him to buy me bactidol for my super itchy throat. Pagdating niya sa office,

Me: San ka kumain?
R: Dun sa Binondo, sa kinakainan ko ng malaking siopao (with matching illustrate ng malaking siopao)
Me: Hindi mo ako binilhan?
R: Naisip nga kita, kaso baka ubuhin ka lalo.

Amph!!! bawal ba sa may ubo ang siopao????

Baby D's 1st Haircut!

When baby D popped out (gross!), ung hair nya kaagad ang nakita ko, ang kapal! Kaya para siyang babae while growing-up. Cute na cute sa kanya mga tao, kaso siya hindi cute na cute sa sarili nya lol. Naiinitan siguro at nangangati. Ilang beses na din siya nagkasugat sa ears at sa neck dahil dyan. 

See? Japorms yan, cuteness overload talaga! Naman kasi sa balot ko yan pinaglihi. Pero contrary to the myth na kapag makati ang belly area ay mabuhok ang baby, wala naman akong ganun, almost no stretchmarks nga (yippeee!). Baka nasa genes lang talaga. 

Si baby D palaging nakapigtails. Ganyan siya everyday until matutunan na niya tanggalin at kainin ung mga ponytails. Panira daw ang kacute-an. 

That's why when baby D turned 1, as in before magstart ang party niya, we went to kiddie barbershop to him make look handsome. Pero kiddie barbershops pala is expensive noh? sabagay ikaw na ang may toy car na laruan at choice of your favorite show habang nagrerelax at ginugupitan? Their package is P250 for haircut only and P450 with certifcate. Kaya mommy DIY to the rescue ako, ako nalang gumawa ng certificate ni baby D. 

Not bad?! lol. I wan't baby D to experience the best in life, natural anak ko yan, kaya ako nagpapakahirap magwork for him. Pero minsan nagkukuripot din naman ako. Kaya next haircut niya sa suking barbero nalang ng lolo niya. Kaso the whole process ng gupitan, iyak ng iyak ng baby, result? ayoko nga ipakita picture. Baka magalit sa akin si baby D paglaki niya. 

Hay anak, sobrang bilis mo lumaki. Wag masyado, wait for mommy... I love you so much!

Baby D and our gadgets

Daddy R loves gadgets, as in lahat ng pangarap niya nung childhod niya na gadgets, gusto niyang bilhin ngaun. At syempre ako din, nakikigadget. E anu pa nga ba matutunan ng baby na ang parents ay mahilig sa gadgets?

Dahil nakikita niya kami na lagi nakatelepono, yan ang unang skill na alam niya. As in lahat ng bagay (remote, mobile phone, at laruan) nilalagay niya sa ears niya, kahit nga kamay lang. Tapos nagsasalita siya, ang daldal niya, super! pero hndi namin maintindihan. lol

ayan, sino kaya lagi ginagaya?

A lot of our FB friends liked this, akala mo daw alam na talaga niya gamitin. Nagdodoodle lang naman siya nyan. Tuloy kada makita niya tab or ipad,  kahit hindi sa amin nakikidoodle siya lol. 

Enjoy na enjoy manuod ng "Tatlong Bibe". Hindi niya pinapansin mickyemouse clubhouse at hi 5. 

Hindi yan masaya humiga at manuod lang. Kailangan malapit sa TV!

Hay baby, sana you will love books as much as you love gadgets. I'm actually contemplating to implement  "Zero Gadget" at home (patay ang mga unli plans namin lol), no TV. Creative play lang, diba mas maganda? I want baby D to learn and experience how is it to play nung bata pa ako. Ung magtaguan, patintero, umakyat sa puno atbp. hindi magpplay ng chess sa tab. We will see. Goodluck to  the lazy me.

Did I mentioned that I am a cam whore before? as in puro solo shots ko, until I get pregnant with baby D that I feel na i'm not camera worthy na, so tumigil ako kaka-portrait pic. Pero still, I love to take pictures, kahit anung moment yan, kasi I believe pictures will be the reminder of the memories. Lalo na kay baby D ngaun, sobrang bilis lang baka binata na siya lol. So I wanna document every moment with him. At sana, someday, he'll see this.
