Deionisms

D's vocabulary is growing so fast, that even things that we didn't teach him alam niya! nakakaloka!

1. While Lola is feeding him,
L: Kain ka na D, sige ka aalis kami iiwan ka?
D: Dating naman...
(Haha kahit maiwan daw siya ay dadating naman din silly boy!)

- -

D: San Mig Talo! (pertaining to San Mig Team)
D: Pingris aku! (While dribbling his mini basketball ball)

- -

D: Penge sampu?! (with matching hand gestures!)

- -
While at the Sunday Mass and all people are kneeling and silent for prayers
D: Lola sit down!
(haha bakit nga naman ayaw kasi mag sit down?!)

- -

While reprimanding him because he's a bad boy again
D: (while in the corner and acting like crying) "Arte aku"
(Hay anak... marunong ka na din umarte? )

- -

After he did something good like wiping the table with his hanky(tsk!) or cleaning his toys
D: Galing! aku!
(haha!)

- -
D: Ako si Rayza may show!
(Anu daw?! no watching TV na talaga)

D: Ako, Ryza Mae Dizon! (sabi ko na talaga no TV na!)

- -
Katuwaan ni R,
R: Thats my...
D: Tambay!
R: You're my...
D: Foyenoy!

- -
He can now form sensible and english sentences like;
1. Lolo come here.
2. I want dede.
*in a non speaking household, #proudmomahere

- -
He can also pray...
D: Lord, tenkyu for day (Lord, Thank you for Today), Amen.

- -
He can also tell stories...
1. D: Punta Peygound, alis bata! Alis! Alis!
(Pumunta daw sila playground, and pinapaalis niya mga bata dun) Bruho talaga! tsk!

2. D: Punta Ayala Tetes , Pasok Jolibbe. (Punta Ayala Terraces, kain sa Jolibbe).

- -
Me: How may eyes do you have?
D: 1 2 3 4 5
Me: How may ears do you have?
D: 1 2 3 4 5
(Alien ka ba anak?!)

- -
Me: Big boy ka na anak, no more dede na,
D: Baby pa,
Me: No big boy D ka na,
D: Baby D!
Me: Big D, kasi malaki ka na,
D: Baby D! Baby D!
(haha kulit lang. )

Hay Anak, don't grow too fast!

Happy Me! February my Birthday Month!

Okay! Happy 1st of April! Ang bilis lang talaga kapag busy ka, (lol) But I thank God that I am busy, because I have work and I can provide for my family's needs. Chos! Anyway,  last Februay, I turned twenty-something and so far the longest birthday celebration I had. Super thanks to everyone who remembered my special day. Bilang isang tao na hindi makatanda ng birthdays (as in I only remember few lang talaga, Thanks to Facebook pa!), I feel so blessed na marami pa din nakaka-alala sa akin. Thus made me feel so loved and remembered last month.

Anyway, my birthday celebration kicked in the morning when D started singing "beytday mommy, beytday mommy, beytday mommy!" Truly that boyoy song is everything! Iba talaga kapag nanay ka na  db? At infairness ang galing ng nagturo sa anak ko. (clap! clap! to Lola and Tita A).

Since we have a training that day, no birthday leave for me. But hey, I have a surprise! Well, actually kasabay ko kasi ng birthday ung president namin, so 2 cakes! (pero wala siya! lol) and I have a lot of sponsors that day! Happy me!

Ice Creams, Blueberry Cheesecake and Sansrival.

Lunch and Table Setting c/o our caterer.

We also had mini pizza party!

Yum! Yum sansrival.

That weekend, daddy R went home with this bag. With the surprise gift. Akala mo anlaki ng laman?!

Bag full of Chico's and Cake.

Tada! Sweet Strawberry Cake straight from Vizco's in Baguio City.

We all loved the cake and D almost smashed it because he wanted to grab the strawberries agad agad.

I also got to experience session in blooms in Baguio City.

Tried fried ballut at Session Road.

Just I thought I'l just have a birthday week, R surprised me with a candle light dinner in Baguio. Yun lang, since I came from Manila pa nagdinner na ako ng bongga before meeting daddy R. So ayan, hindi na ako masyado nakakain. But I am so touched naman sa gesture ni R. I felt to loved.

And another surprise during that trip is R booked us a room in Hotel Elizabeth. Oo nga naman, we used to have vacations like this, just like old times. Nakakamiss din.

And the celebration is still in for our breakfast!

We have melt-in-your-mouth pancakes!

Cheese Omelette.

French Toast.

Chocolate Cake!

And we ended my celebration via pinipilahang Alabanza Longanisa in session in blooms. Yes, pumila talaga ako. And it was worth it.

So far, this year's celebration is one that I value the most. Not because it's the longest so far nor the documented one since ngaun lang ako may blog na, but because this year I felt so loved and I realized a  lot of things in my life. In short nagmature na ako. Now I know to value simple things in life and so far I have a clear direction in my life. And as years add in my calendar, I know I am gaining not just age, but a lot of wisdom, friends and a lot more to be thankful for.

So happy birthday for me!

Rasing Happy D!

Where did time go?! Last week of March na? Oh my! I haven't posted my month long birthday celebration last February, all my other post are left in the draft, I have tons of stories to share about my family and career life, yet nada! ang mga posts. Tsk! And I am about to celebrate my anniversary in blogging (yes! feeling true blogger lang tlaga!) Ang bilis talaga ng time kapag busy ka. And one of the reasons why I am so busy is spent time reading resources on how to discipline baby D. And I want to share this inforgraphics from lifehacker http://lifehacker.com/this-infographic-reveals-how-to-raise-happy-and-healthy-1542169077

I hope this will help mother's out there!

More post this week! promise!

SUCCESS! I PASSED!

I am so happy! I passed the board exam! Success! I am so blessed.

I actually received the results a few days ago, and just today that I realized that I am so lucky! Okay, I admit, I am bit disappointed because I didn't made it to the Top10. I know ang yabang db?! R and I are hoping for the Top10, I wanted my Disneyland prize lol! as baby D will say "Juke Lang!". I am so happy actually, I just can't figure what's next after this success, thus the confusion part.

Anyway, enough for the drama. Everyone is so happy for me! Mama said "Ang galing ko kasi magdasal nagpamisa pa ako nung exam day mo na!" and Papa said "Para ka na din nanalo sa lotto anak, 30,000++ hindi nakapasa, ikaw nakapasa!" Tita A said "Wow! ang galing mo naman! first take?!" Hahaha they can't believe I passed the board exam! And daddy R's reaction?! "Oh magmasters ka na!" Super supportive right!?

Reminiscing my life two months before the exam made me relish this good news more. Although I am not really 100% serious with my review classes, the time I spent every saturday and sunday, plus the expenses is serious ha?! And the playtimes I missed with baby D in exchange for the review classes is priceless. And I can imagine myself crying if I learned that I failed. Although daddy R has a contingency plan to that "Retake sa July!" lol.

And after the treats, blow-outs and dine-outs to celebrate how lucky I am, I still have not thanked all the people who helped me through this journey. I started this dream some four years ago and almost stopped when I got pregnant to baby D, I almost dropped (oh I actually repeated 2 field studies). And things turned around that baby D became my source of inspiration to reach the finish line.

Thank you so much daddy R, my boyfriend then who helped me morally and financially from the start of my review for the entrance exam until board exam. For always believing in me that I will pass my exams even if I didn't study. For believing that I can pass all the requirements needed. Thank you so much for always believing in me.

To Papa & Mama who are there to take care of baby D when I need to attend my evening and weekend classes. For preparing my breakfasts and baon during reviews. For praying for me. You know that all I want is for you guys to be proud of me.

To my boss, who is always considerate when I need to change travel schedules due to my scheduled exams and field studies. Thank you for allowing me to grow as an individual outside my career.

To my bestfriend who is always encouraging me to be the best that I can be.

To my MIL and BIL who literally made one of my field studies, thank you so much.

Thank you so much Lord, for blessing me with so much! you always never fail me.

To everyone who believed and prayed for me, Thank you so much guys! (Okay I feel like I won Oscars na!)

Last 4 years was a journey of learning, gaining new friends and expanding my horizons. And I am so thankful that I made it and I am step closer to my dreams. I am happy that all my hard work has paid off and hopefully will enjoy the harvest soon. My next plans may not be as water clear right know, but I trust that He has a beautiful plan for me. And I so much excited for the next chapters.

The Joy of Long Weekend

TGIF! I'm so happy that finally after two months, I am now excited for weekends again. Weekends are the only time R and I spends time with our little firecracker. So last week's long weekend was special. And our little boy enjoyed it to bits. I know! its been a week! but I wanna document D's milestones right? so let the pictures do it. How our long weekend was.

Night of Thursday, but technically start of longweekend. D threw a drinking glass again! yes, malapit na maubos gamit ng lola niya. And to discipline him, I tried to put him in the corner. And guess what? he even tagged Jollibee along for company. Silly baby. How can I discipline this toddler without spanking him? help!

I also brought home a little cake. So D thought its his birthday again!

Look at the smile! because he's watching barney for the nth time at 4am! hay...

The next morning, he tagged to the village's playground. I wanna sleep pa sana, but how I can resist?!

At home, while waiting for daddy R, baby D said "Bahbye!.. taxi? late naku!" haha saan kaya siya pupunta at nagmamadali? He even put on his cap and secured his cars in the paper bag.

While nursing, gawin daw bang parking lot ang tummy ko?!

Next morning was super fun. The boys rummaged our room with whole day wrestling, tickling and playing. I am actually smiling now as I imagined how they laughed. I am so lucky, no I am blessed.

We also watched Frozen. And been watching it over and over and over the week. We love the story, and the sibling love made me wanna have another baby#2! lol

Sunday morning was spent again in the playground.

This is actually the first time we accompanied D in the village playground, first for R. #guiltyworkingparents. And I so proud to see how brave my baby boy is. Imagine he can slide on the big kids slide alone?! #daigpasidaddyR

R and I also enjoyed the long weekend. We sneaked on a date and watched (I slept) I, Frankenstein. And guess who we saw?

He's so gwapo and young! I get so near na sana, pwede na ako papicture! Kaso R didn't want to. Sayang.

Anyway, we got to try Pepper Lunch.

Since Pepper Lunch is located at SM Fairview Foodcourt, they gave us this device. Galing noh?

And my Meal. I loved it.

I am so looking forward to more long weekends with D.

Happy Weekend!
