Mimi

Oh my G! si baby D malapit na akong tawagin na "mommy". He's turning 15 months na at andaldal niya na, pero hindi namin siya naiintindihan. So far, baba, dede, pa lang understandable. So ganito kami palagi;

Me: Baby say Mommy
D: tatatata
Me: No baby, say Mommy ganda
D: dadadada
Me: Say mommy.. Daddy ... lolo ... lola
D: oohhhhh... tatatata

haha ang kulit lang. pero last night while im busy pumping milk at ginugulo niya ang mga gamit ko;

Me: say mommy
D: Mi Mi
Me: Very Goood! Oh say mommy ganda!
D: da

Then kanina umaga, as usual humahabol siya, (heartbreaking!) He said Mimi.. awts! parang ayoko na pumasok sa office. haha

haha konti nalang alam na niya! malapit na!

Hay anak, don't grow too fast... Gusto pa kitang ma-enjoy ng sobra. I love you so much baby.

Baby D and Reader's Digest

I love books, I have this strange attitude na bili ng bili ng mga books, pero hindi naman lahat nababasa. Pero if I have time (nung single pa ako) nagbabasa talaga ako. Kahit na pinupunit at kinakain lang niya, I always try to read a book with him, gusto ko din kasing maging bonding moment namin un. Kaya imagine my tuwa and surprise ng isang gabi pag uwi ko ito ang ginagawa niya.

Hmmmppp lemme see, anu kaya mayroon dito?

ohh.. interesting...

mommy! walang pictures!! lol

I will still buy books for him.

Learnings from a VegieMan

What I love most about my job is that I get to meet a lot of people. People from different walks of life, so I wore a lot of hats as well. I love to listen, I love to learn from their past experiences.  Those conversations inspires me to do well in my job, to achieve more. Today, I met  a colleague, we came from the same university (meeting him made me miss my alma mater) He is a vegitarian. He is a seasoned banker. He loves his family so much. He inspires me. So I wanna share (take note) the life lessons he shared during lunch.

1. Prioritize your Family - after college he worked hard, achived a lot. But upon reaching 50's he opt for early an retirement. He wanted to spend more time with his children. He was guilty that almost all his life was spent working. So true, time flies so fast, we cannot bring back time, that all we can do is to make the most out of it. As much as we can, play and enjoy with our kids. I know! balancing career and family is hard. I'm still figuring out how to do it.

2. Happiness and Success depends on you - Being happy and successul is very subjective. It depends on your own definition. You cannot compare your own happiness and sucess with others. You need to learn to live simple, and enjoy simple things. We are often blinded by material happiness; money and wealth, but are we really happy if we have them?

3. You are stressed because you want to be - Agree? Yes. Most of the top executives/officers struggle because they want it. Oh yes we all complain, but they choose to be in that position, they strive hard to get the top position and they need to accept that top positions entails more responsibilities.  So we have to live with stress, it makes the game more challenging. I will never complain about stress at work. (Stress sa asawa nalang!)

4. Less Food = More Energy - It's all in the mind. Our mind controls the balance of nature. I love this! I know! I have been strugling to go on a diet balanced diet. I always fail! ggrrr!!! Mr. VegieMan inspires me to try it again. Now with a full determination in mind. Less food intake, more energy that goes to the brain to function more. I just need to find a video on how chicken/pig are processed. So goodluck to me!

Laters!

Tagaytay-Nasugbu for R's Bday!

For R's 27th birthday, the Familia E went to Canyon Cove at Nasugbu Batangas. After a long debate kung isasama si baby D or not, we pushed thru na din with A. At buti nalang talaga sinama namin si bebe, kasi kung hndi with the ligaw-ligaw namin, for sure nagalit si daddy R. Basag kasi IT ko haha. As usual below are the photos!

We stopped as Tagaytay, saan pa ba? e di sa Leslie's. A and D waiting for our orders.

And the FOOOODD! hindi naman kami gutom db?
Me: Anu busog ka ba?
A: Hindi ko masyado nagustuhan, pang mayaman kasi inorder nyo
Me: May ganun?

Baby D: Let me go mommy! hindi pa ako pagod maglikot (lol)

Ooops reminds me, I need to look for my pics nga din na evidence na I travelled well din hehe

And the Familia E. Sorry wala na naman makita haha

After almost a day, we arrived at the hotel. Shagod!

Gottcchhhaaaa! We love this pic? bakit? e minsan lang namin makuhanan lahat kami nakasmile.

We love the bench. As in gusto na yan iuwi ni R.
Baby D ready for the night.

Good Morning Sunshine! while tulog pa si R (kasi napuyat siya kakabantay if pawisan na anak niya) at nasa tabing dagat na si A. Nanguha ng buhangin, remembrance niya daw.

hhhmmmm... asan mga chick mom?

beach beybe!

And the familia E first beach encounter. Kaso wala pa din matinong pic. lol

baby D and mom swimming. (Excuse my fats please!)
This trip was sulit, sobrang enjoy ang bagets, ayaw na nga umahon.

This is one of my favorite pics ng mag-daddy, akala mo domesticated si R at matiyagang nag aalaga kay baby D haha.

Before leaving the hotel.

And at home, we had ice cream cake for daddy R.

Kwento: Itong turtle na to nagsasalita, I know talaga english siya, but when I turned it on sa bahay to show kay baby D, nag espanyol bigla! sobrang failed at nanlalaki ang mata sa akin ni R. Buti nalang nadiscover ko, bi-lingual pala siya english at espanyol. haha

Now that we are still waiting for the time na magkakasama na kami, (OFW family kasi ang peg namin) we treasure times like this, whole week na magkakasama kami as family. We always hold on sa saying na "All good things come to those who wait". We look forward to that, for the mean time ineenjoy lang namin every time na kasama namin si baby D.

To daddy R, I know its late (Supper!!!) Nov 29 kasi bday niya. Happy birthday. Thank you for walking with me in this journey. For always making me feel loved, secure and safe. Thank you that God sent you to me (why? that deserve another post). Baby D is so lucky to have you as his dad. We both love you to the moon and back.

2013 Holy Week

My apologies, medyo non-chronological ang mga posts ko, I may post recent or past (apologies, andami kong gusto ipost na mga hapenings sa Family E).

Lemme start with this muna, last holyweek baby D and I travelled to Baguio (Yep, kahit kontra ang lahat, kinaya namin ni baby via deluxe bus naman lol), then with daddy R we went to his lolo and lola in La Union for the vacay and went to Manaoag with the Gang before mommy returns to work. I will just photoblog, toinks!

Ohhh angel cookies! eto na bagong kong favorite from baguio, pasalubong sa amin ni daddy R, kaso in 10minutes, ubos! guess who sino umubos? silang mag daddy! kainis!

I'm so glad I captured this moment, daddy R is playing temple run, the usual nanuod ang baby

Hep! moment naman mommy and baby

Baby D and Daddy R enjoying the pool, sobrang enjoy ang bagets, this was priceless! Hep, don't ask me why si spongebob and salbabida ng anak ko, tatay niya bumili nyan lol

Itsura namin! haha I know we are all not yet ready, e anung magagawa ko? naka smile detect pala ang camera at nagsmile ako agad? and ito lang picture namin at family. bad. promise I will take more decent pictures namin tatlo. Makapag pa studio pic na nga!
